Strano Performance Parts is a small family run business, known mostly for F-body suspension work.
However, we also carry a huge variety of suspension pieces and other products for many different
types of vehicles. We put the same level of work and desire to match the customer with the right
products regardless if it's a set of shocks for a Camaro, or a Tuning box for a Diesel truck.
If you are looking for an exhaust for your commuter car, side steps for your truck, a programmer,
tonneau cover, racing seat, headers, or most anything else you are after, please ask us! Chances are
we can help, do it at competitive prices, and with the desire to make sure the product you are buying
is right for the job.
***Closed May 8-12***
Due to the passing of my Mom and partner Arlyn, we will be closed until Monday May 12th to be with family and friends.
Mom truly enjoyed coming to work, talking to customers and helping folks with their needs. She told me the thing she hated most about being ill was that she missed coming to work.

Sorry business practices
After a dispute regarding how I operate my business and pay for my parts, Corbeau USA saw fit to cancel my account leaving a customer who was waiting on backordered product, without seats.
My account was immediately and unilaterally closed because my business debit card had hit the daily limit. Nate at Corbeau wanted me to give him another card to process the order immediately somehow ignoring the fact we'd be waiting almost 5 weeks for the product in question. I refused as the money for the product was already placed into the account to be used. I was then told that I don't know how to run a business and that (I think rightfully so) pissed me off.
At that point I was informed that my account was closed and the order would not be processed. I can live with that, and will not stand for being abused by vendors. What's sad is Corbeau USA and it's representitive in the form of Nate thought it ok to not only call in to question how I run my business, but to keep the customer who ordered the product from getting the product--that's quite sad especially in these economic times.
I believe in being up front with my customers and want to make folks aware of the situation. Apparently that's not the kind of vendor some companies wish to have.

GM High Tech Performance Magazine articles
GM High Tech Performance Magazine's last three issues have been really good for Strano Performance Parts.
My 2001 Z28 was on the cover of the September 2007 issue, and the article covers the technical basics of the car, with some great photos (including a 2 page action shot).
The last two issues featured Editor Rick Jensen's 2001 Z28 in a 2 part article titled "1SC-YA". Part 1 covered the installation of one of Strano Performance Parts Handling Packages--number 3 in this case. Mostly it was a installation article with only a few impressions about the result and a couple of lap times on a track on street tires. That was still quite good, as the times had tumbled by some 3.4 seconds.
But Part 2 of the article is even better. While most of it focuses on things like oils, seats, and a set of R-comp tires, the end of it has both street and track impressions from Rick. And I couldn't have asked for a nicer review.
Rick drove the car to times another 3.5 seconds a lap quicker, for a total of 6.9 seconds of time shaved off of the laps on a 1.35 mile track. This is with the same suspension he uses to daily drive the car to and from work across New York City. And he addresses just how the car works. A few quick quote from the article:
"I am, quite simply, blown away by the Z28's new suspension".
"Strano has balanced his spring rates and bar sizes to provide sick handling on the track, and very liveable manners on the road".
"All in all, I couldn't be happier with the mods we made to this Camaro".

Sam Strano claims 4th SCCA National Championship and 3rd ProSolo Series Championship.
I get to say I'm 4-time SCCA National Champion, and what's better is that I got that 4th one in F-stock, which has been one of my biggest goals since 1997 when I first when to Nationals in my 1991 1LE Camaro. I also won the ProSolo Finale, and claimed that championship (my third).
I won the Pro by over .8, which @ Nationals is a pretty impressive margin. That was on Friday and Saturday. By the time we ran Solo Nationals on Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th, I was feeling pretty good. But I had no idea that I would just have some of the best runs of my life. By the time things were over, I had won FS by 1.917 seconds over the two days. And when I got home and looked over the web, I found out I had run an index time that was faster than anyone else at the event. I PAXed 1st out of 1141 cars that ran Nationals.
I setup the car that finished 2nd in FS (and a lot of the others in the class). I'm heavily involved with cars that won and trophied in several other classes as well, and that makes me very proud to know I had some part in their success. Of course I didn't drive the cars, but hopefully offered some helpful tidbits along the way.
Strano Performance Parts cars and customers did exceedingly well in Topeka, and I'd like to thank you all for your business.
