UMI Performance tubular front lower A-arms are built to offer a strong streetable set up while reducing front end weight. By adding UMI Performance front lower A-arms it immediately removes 8lbs from the front of the vehicle while adding strength and increased performance. UMI tubular A-arms are designed to outperform the stock setup, whether it�s at the race track or an added improvement to a daily driver, they�ve been tested and improved to handle both applications. UMI lower A-arms can be installed on the factory K-member or any aftermarket K-member. They are designed to reduce front end weight, as well as �unsprung� weight, providing improved handling performance to the front of your vehicle. UMI Performance A-arms are built using strong DOM steel tubing, 3/16� thick CNC machined shock mounts, premium ball joints installed, high quality chromoly spherical rod ends and greaseable Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings.

UMI�s front lower A-arms are supplied with Teflon lined rod ends and fluted Delrin bushings. The spherical rod ends replace the stock rubber bushings found in the rear of the OEM arms. The rod end design is to allow free movement and travel in the front suspension while adding additional front end adjustment when needed. The factory GM A-Arm features a rubber pivot bushing in this area which is designed to rotate up and down as the suspension travels. Replacing this bushing with a solid bushing such as polyurethane would not allow the suspension to articulate correctly and would cause front suspension bind. The front bushing location features CNC machined and grease fluted deflection free Delrin bushings. The Delrin bushings are designed to eliminate friction for a faster traveling suspension.

Hardware kit, Part # 2301- Lower A-Arm hardware kit includes Grade 10.9 14mm bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts. Kit includes everything needed to mount your new UMI Performance A-Arms to your vehicle.
